The Bridge AsiaRoamData SIM starter kit, priced at $US15, comprises a data-only SIM card bundled with one-day unlimited data roaming which can be used across any of the 11 countries. Top ups cost $US12 per day and customers can top-up the SIM card via www.bridgealliance.com or from their mobile devices. The SIM can be used in any SIM-unlocked smartphones, USB modems, tablets and laptop computers with a SIM card slot. Customers can purchase Bridge AsiaRoamData SIM online, with delivery service to anywhere around the world, at www.bridgealliance.com.
Optus told ExchangeDaily at the time that it would support the service but said also "Optus also plans to develop other data related packages that will make data roaming much more affordable." Its web site presently offers two other Bridge data roaming services: Bridge DataRoam 15 and Bridge DataRoam 40 that include, respectively 15MB and 40MB and cost $40 and $80 per month with excess data at $0.015 per KB, but these are available only to postpaid Optus Mobile customers.
