Accellion delivers encrypted collaboration to iOS

Your IT - Mobility

A new version of the Accellion iOS app for secure file sharing supports two-way transfers.

Accellion's mobile apps for iPhone and iPad store files in an encrypted container and allow users to edit, save, share, and comment on files. A web interface provides centralised control of whether individual users can edit files or are restricted to view only mode.

Files are encrypted while being transferred and stored on the mobile device, and decrypted for viewing or for editing with an appropriate app such as Quickoffice. Notifications can be used to provide an alert when someone adds or comments on files in a shared workspace.

Version 2 of Accellion supports the transfer of local files to the encrypted workspace.

The free app works in conjunction with other software from Accellion.
