For now, the whole episode is yet more free publicity for the free publicity masters of the universe, with the true thickness of the white iPhone 4 mattering little to a public keen on the latest and greatest from Apple - even if the tech within is now already a year old, or close enough to it.
The real questions revolve over when the next iPhone model is coming in the now-presumed September timeframe, and whether it'll be the iPhone 4S - or the iPhone 5.
