eBay tweaks iPhone app for mobile selling

Your IT - Mobility

A new version of eBay Australia's iPhone app makes it easier for sellers to list new items.

The new 2.1.1 version of eBay's iPhone app is said to make it possible to list an item in less than a minute.

The latest version of the app incorporates the RedLaser barcode scanning technology that eBay acquired last June in oder to pre-fill certain information into the listing. Photos taken on the iPhone can also be included.

In addition, the 'sell one like this' allows the automatic population of category and item information fields based on an existing listing.
