A new range of Clarion satnav systems will feature SUNA real-time traffic updates as standard. The GPS devices go on sale next month.

Clarion's forthcoming range of in-vehicle navigation systems will feature live traffic updates from SUNA Traffic Channel. SUNA delivers traffic information collected from road sensors and probe vehicles, as well as details of planned roadworks, major sporting events, and so on.

"We are extremely excited to introduce our new NX501A navigation system," said Adrian Davies, national marketing and product manager at Clarion Australia. "The newly designed user interface provides a cutting edge customer experience. Users will be able to customise their real-time routing using the SUNA traffic information to enhance their navigation experience," he added.

SUNA is currently available in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth.
