Ultimate new iPad 2 Bluetooth keyboard cases?

Your IT - Mobility

Padacs, the iDevice accessory company known for its innovative iPad Bluetooth keyboard cases, has announced its redesigned new Toccata and Rubata cases for the iPad 2, with better inbuilt keyboards and an April launch date!

If you've got an iPad, and you wish you could use a real keyboard with it to more naturally type without needing to constantly look at the on-screen keys, a Bluetooth keyboard has been an option since day one.

Although Apple's existing Bluetooth iMac keyboard seems an obvious solution, having to cart around the iPad and a separate keyboard is a bit fiddly, so when Padacs announced its iPad Bluetooth keyboard case last year, it was to great interest worldwide.

Australian iPad and iPhone accessories maker, Padacs, originally launched two versions of the case for the iPad - the Toccata keyboard case with silicon keys for ultra-quiet typing during meetings, classes and lectures, and the Rubata keyboard case with its regular notebook-style keyboard for those that wanted a more standard keyboarding experience.

Now that the iPad 2 is here, with its slimmer dimensions, Padacs has taken the opportunity to not only redesign its popular cases for the iPad 2 to make them sleeker and thinner, but to make excellent improvements to its actual keyboard in response to customer demand.

Padacs' Toccata 2 Bluetooth Keyboard case contains a redesigned 235x135mm QWERTY silicon keyboard with special iPad keys, with keyboard controls to adjust the iPad 2's screen brightness, the addition of new keys including a right 'shift' key and a 'Photo Frame' button for the iPad, the removal of the keyboard's 'Print Screen' button, a combined 'Backspace' and 'Delete' key and a sturdy side pin connector for charging.

Charged by the included USB cable, the Lithium-ion battery-powered keyboard runs for as long as 45 hours before needing a recharge.

Then there's the new Rubata 2 Bluetooth Keyboard case, which Padacs says has 'undergone a total transformation'. Made from 'synthetic leather', the hard shell keyboard within has even more new features.

Details of the new keyboard are continued on page two, please read on!
