Belkin has Apple's new iPod touch covered

Your IT - Mobility

Belkin wasn't the first accessory vendor to announce cases for Apple's latest iPod models, but it has come out with an interesting variety of cases for the new iPod touch.

Belkin's case range for the 2010 iPod touch covers the bases with models that focus on grip, impact-resistance, screen protection and active users.

"The iPod is a product which is carried everywhere, and therefore needs to be protected from being dropped while still being able to be accessed quickly and easily," said Denis Valente, senior manager – marketing at Belkin ANZ.

"Belkin has designed the new iPod Touch cases to compliment the consumers lifestyle without hindering its functionality," he added.

If you find the iPod touch a little slippery, the Grip range includes models with prices ranging from $A24.99 for the Grip Graphix (available in aqua/white, mauve/pink or black/clear) to $A39.95 for the Grip Edge (black leather). The $A29.95 Grip Ergo (translucent black or translucent taro) includes a wrist strap.

The other leather cases in Belkin's new range are also priced at $A39.95 and include the Folio model with a flap to protect the screen and a pocket to store a credit card, money and a key.

More new iPod touch cases from Belkin are described on page 2.
