Apple also notes that: 'iPhone 4 also features a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, HD 720p video recording, Apple's A4 processor, a 3-axis gyro and up to 40 percent longer talk time', with an asterisk pointing to a note that says 'battery life depends on device settings, usage and other factors. Actual results vary'.
So'¦ it isn't the most magical or revolutionary press release ever, and nor does it define the future of mobile media press releases or computing device press releases, but it does tell us the official, outright purchase price of the 16GB iPhone 4 (at least direct from Apple).
Personally, I can't wait to try one for review and see for myself how much faster it performs compared to the iPhone 3GS, or to try out the FaceTime feature, the 5 megapixel camera with flash, and to see if touching the iPhone 4's special spot gives my finger a tingly feeling or not, which no-one seems to have mentioned - presumably there is none.
Ah well, tingly feelings or no, the iPhone 4 and the race to get one from an official local source (by those who want one) is hotting up, as is the agonising wait of the inevitable 'sold out' periods where iPhone 4s will be hard to come by for a few weeks thereafter once initial stocks follow iPhone 4 customers out the door.
