VHA joins Tour de France peloton

Your IT - Mobility

Even Australians with no particular interest in cycling seem drawn to the Tour de France, and Vodafone Hutchinson Australia is tapping this interest by delivering "exclusive" content.

Vodafone Hutchinson Australia is offering its subscribers free exclusive Tour de France content via Vodafone live! and Planet 3.

The content includes daily highlights, rider interviews, maps, stage profiles and time schedules.

"Cycling devotees and those who just want to keep up-to-speed can now get their Tour de France fix anytime simply on their mobile phone," said Amanda Hutton, general manager, Internet and Services at VHA.

VHA is also promoting the SBS Tour de France app for the iPhone. This $A3.99 app does not appear to have been very well received by customers, as it has attracted an unusually low average rating of 1.5 stars and several comments expressing a desire for a refund.

If you fancy popping over to France for the final weekend of the Tour de France or would like to win an Avanti Carbon road bike, Vodafone is running a couple of competitions - see www.vodafone.com.au/tdf (but be quick if you want the trip to France, as the closing date is July 14).
