Ovi Maps takes Time Out in Sydney

Time Out listings on Nokia's Ovi Maps are spreading to Australia. Information for Sydney is already online.

The Time Out entertainment, restaurant and bar listings and reviews are already available for free on Nokia's Ovi Maps service for London, New York, Lisbon, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

Sydney has now been added to the list, with Melbourne coming in November and Brisbane and Perth during 2011. Around the world, more than 33 Time Out cities will be added to Ovi Maps in the coming month, Nokia officials said.

Julian Peterson, marketing and online director of Time Out, said: "Time Out is delighted to team up with Nokia to make our content available to both Sydneysiders and visitors when they are on the move. Nokia users can now get free, up-to-date information on nearby restaurants, bars, gigs, events and entertainment through Ovi Maps."

The Ovi Maps map and navigation service is available free of charge on Nokia smartphones including the N97, N97 mini, E72, X6, and 5800. A range of premium content is offered, including Lonely Planet and Michelin guides.
