eBay Australia and New Zealand's application for Android handsets is now available from the Android Market.

eBay.com.au's new free application for Android allows users to to search, buy, pay, and check the status of their eBay activity.

Features of the application voice search, alerts, support for Buy It Now purchases, and PayPal integration.

'eBay mobile sales are growing faster in Australia than in any other major market, with an item purchased through an eBay app every 15 seconds," said eBay spokesperson Jenny Thomas.

"This latest Android application will help even more Australians to pick up a bargain on the site regardless of whether they're on the bus or at the beach," she added.

The Android application joins others for the iPhone/iPod touch, iPad, and BlackBerry.
