The number of iPhone apps keeps on growing, and while they grow for the Android platform too, Justin-tv service is now available for the iPhone, joining Qik, uStream, Livestream, and Knocking Live video for true visual nirvana.
For the moment, Justin.tv for iPhone allows users to view the Justin.tv videos, share them with others and interact via live chatting, but there's no broadcasting from iPhones to the Justin.tv site as yet - this is due 'later this year'.
uStream and Qik have both had iPhones apps that allow uploading of video from the iPhone's camera for some time, among others that you'll find on the iPhone app store. Both uStream and Qik have free iPhone app options, although Qik also has an app that it charges for.
This means that Justin.tv is behind its competitors on this front, but at least it now allows iPhone users mobile access to Justin.tv's content via an app, something that's essential given the iPhone's refusal to support Adobe's web-based Flash for video streaming, gaming and anything else.
Another interesting iPhone app for streaming live video is the free Knocking Live video app. This allows private streaming from one iPhone to another, and now to Android phone users as well.
