Woolworths' double bonus mobile recharge offer

Your IT - Mobility

Woolworths, Australia's largest retailer, has expanded its Everyday Mobile service with new options aimed at heavier users.

Following Woolworths' entry into the mobile phone plan business in August 2009, the retailer now offers what it claims is the "best value $30 recharge for calls to other networks in Australia."

Woolworths new Chatterbox prepaid plan offers additional credit on recharge. This starts with $30 credit from a $20 recharge.

Currently, the $30 recharge delivers the best value, as it gives the $30 you pay for, a $30 normal bonus, and another $30 credit thanks to a promotional offer that lasts until April 25.

The $50 recharge comes with a $50 bonus. In all cases, the bonus credit is only for "standard talk and text".

"The Chatterbox plan is aptly named for people who talk a lot, yet want a simple to understand, low cost plan," said Graeme Veitch, head of Woolworths Everyday Mobile.
