Sure, the Kings Button featured a 6.6 carat diamond as the home button, and an 18 carat gold case decorated with 138 diamonds, but it only cost $US2.6 million (at today's exchange rates).
Stuart Hughes of Liverpool (UK) based Goldstriker International has now announced the iPhone 3GS Supreme, featuring a 7.1 carat diamond home button, 136 diamonds surrounding the screen (totalling 68 carats), and another 53 diamonds (totalling 1 carat) forming the Apple logo.
And the case is gold - not the 18 carat kind that Kings Button owners have to put up with, but 22 carat.
You probably wouldn't want to leave a phone like that on your bedside table, so it comes with a nubuck leather lined granite chest.
If you want some bling with your ring but can't manage the £1.92 million ($US3.14 million/$A3.5 million) price tag of the Supreme, Hughes also offers less expensive customised iPhones starting with a 3GS set with around 440 diamonds (totalling 4 carats) for £9995/$US13,359/$A18,173.
