A new application for the BlackBerry Storm and Curve 8900 gives users preferential shopping at a clearance outlet.
iDumpit is an Australian online clearance outlet offering goods in a diverse range of categories from audio headsets thought pet accessories and premium meat (now there's a juxtaposition!) to wine & beer.
Current top sellers include the Dell Latitude D610 notebook for $380, half a dozen bottles of Moet & Chandon NV for $323.94, and a $4.99 Pooper Scooper. As we said, it's diverse range.
The store's new BlackBerry application alerts users when selected items go on special, and for the first 24 hours these specials will only be offered to BlackBerry users.
Furthermore, selected specials will be exclusive to BlackBerry users.
In addition to access to specials, the application delivers notifications for selected product categories, reminders for regular purchases, and favourites for repeat purchases.
Goods can be purchased with the application, which can be downloaded from
iDumpit's site.
