Nokia has announced three new mobile phones for delivery later this year.

Nokia used a corporate event in Singapore to announce three new handsets aimed at different market segments.

The E72 is aimed at heavy email and IM users. Due to ship late in the third quarter, it features a QWERTY keyboard and easy setup for Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk, Ovi, and other IM services.

The 5530 XpressMusic features a touch interface with quick access to Facebook, MySpace and other networking and content sites. It is scheduled for release in the third quarter.

Due in the fourth quarter, the 3710 fold also focusses on Internet-delivered content and services.

In related news, regional content providers and developers took advantage of the Nokia event to show off their wares for the company's recently opened Ovi Store.
