3 mobile to broadcast live cricket TV

3G TV is about to come into its own this Summer, with the announcement that 3 mobile will stream Channel Nine's live coverage of the Test Series and One Day Internationals direct to 3's mobile phones.

The service will provide live TV coverage, text alerts for each fall of wicket and the latest news on 3 mobile.

Scott Taylor, general manager of content & services, 3 mobile said, 'We are extremely excited to be able to offer Australian fans the chance to watch all the live action of the cricket in Australia this summer, live on their 3 mobile handsets. With our new live mobile TV cricket coverage, coupled with 3's existing cricket package, passionate cricket fans will not miss a moment of the action this season.'

3 customers will be able to watch the whole 3 mobile Test Series live on their handsets for a subscription fee of $8 a month.
