3G iPhone: Crunchgear launches latest leak of iPhone pics!

Your IT - Mobility

By the time most people read this, there will only be two sleeps to go before the truth of the 3G iPhone is revealed to all. But that hasn’t stopped the last minute leaks, with Crunchgear proffering the latest lusciously lascivious leaks!

Ten... nine... eight... seven... six... five... four... three... two...

UPDATE: These pics are fake. But... the iPhone 3G has launched! Full details and real pics here.

Original story follows:

Two more sleeps to go if you’re reading this on Sunday morning, although I’m posting it on a Saturday night, Australian time, so three more sleeps for me, but likely only two more for you!

Ah, the wondrous joy of an upcoming WWDC, complete with iPhone mania. It’s like the excitement before the second Matrix movie aired – would it be as good as the first?

Well, we all know that Matrix 2 and 3 really weren’t as good as Matrix 1. But the 3G iPhone promises to be all that the 2G iPhone is... and plenty more besides. More memory. More megapixels. More speed. More features, more of everything. And even the possibility of more Apple software for Windows!

Yes, for Apple looks poised, according to Crunchgear, to launch iChat for Windows XP SP2 and Vista, for the 3G iPhone is said to not only have videocalling through 3G, but can also videochat with iChat clients when connected to Wi-Fi.

And for that to be a feature that the vast majority of iPhone users can take advantage of, they’ll need iChat. Seeing as there are tens if not hundreds of millions more Windows XP and Vista machines out there than Macs, despite Apple having the best Macs on offer, ever – iChat for Windows makes sense. Let’s hope it’s true!

Of course, that makes me think – what next from Apple?! iLife and iWork for Windows, too? Ok, ok. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here, those programs will likely remain Mac exclusives for some time to come, if not forever.

So... it’s time to see what the latest 3G iPhone pics look like, and so far, they’re looking very real – including a thinner thickness, and MacBook Air like curves.
