The 3G iPhone cometh... soon?

Your IT - Mobility

One last thing that I can think of for now is the ability to allow users to display the entire iPhone interface on an external screen, just like Steve Jobs does during his keynotes.

The current video out option is said to only allow the display of videos played on the iPhone, which if true, is really annoying. Why not let us display the whole thing, just like Steve-o can?

When the Nokia N95 first came out, I had lots of fun plugging it into friend’s TV sets, showing a group of people the cool features the N95 was capable of, using the included cable video/audio out cable in the box.

While I’d only really use such a video out option to do exactly the same thing, and probably wouldn’t use it for anything else (at least for now), it’s still something that Apple could allow with the flick of a software switch... I guess we’ll just have to see if it will happen, or not.

So... that’s my take on what a 3G iPhone should include. What do you think should be included? Feel free to leave your own suggestions, I’d love to read them.

Maybe there’s some blindingly obvious feature that I’ve left out... like the ability to use an external Bluetooth keyboard or Bluetooth that’s compatible with A2DP for use with Bluetooth stereo headsets...

Over to you, dear readers. I’m getting back to my 2G iPhone and dreamin’ of a 3.5G future...
