HTC brings GPS to TouchFlo

Your IT - Mobility

HTC's Touch Cruise 3G smartphone is the first of the company's TouchFlo models to incorporate GPS.

Although Co-Pilot Live 7 navigation software is included with the $A1149 phone, it is bundled rather than preinstalled. That's a strange decision by HTC, as it seems unlikely that many people would pay for a GPS-equipped phone and software if they didn't intend to use that feature.

In addition to the TouchFlo 'swipe' interface, Touch Cruise features Windows Mobile 6 Professional as well as the HTC Home screen for quick access to various features.

Returning to the hardware specs, there's HSDPA for fast data transfers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3 megapixel camera, FM radio and a microSD slot.
