Hutchison slashes mobile roaming charges

Your IT - Home IT

Hutchison Australia has greatly reduced the cost of 3's customers using their mobiles overseas so long as they roam onto another 3 network.

They will not be charged for incoming calls and all outgoing calls - including video, SMS and MMS - will be charged at rates 'similar' to those that apply in Australia, Hutchison says. Mobile broadband will also be charged at a rate similar to home. However, for customers on capped plans, these costs will not be included in their cap but will be charged separately.

The facility '3 Like Home' is presently available in  the UK,   Ireland, Hong Kong, Italy, Austria, Denmark and Sweden.
