The nineteenth disclosure in the Month of Apple Bugs concerns a buffer overflow in Transmit, a client application for FTP and other protocols.

Microsoft Office 365

The proof of concept, which uses JavaScript to trigger the flaw, simply crashes the program. No claims are made about the potential for code execution.

The suggested workaround is to disable the ftps handler.
