Who says politicians don't understand the benefits of technology?

 

During a guest appearance in Channel Nine's commentary box at the Fifth Test this afternoon, Prime Minister (and cricket tragic) John Howard admitted to watching streaming coverage of the previous Ashes series on a PC at his New York hotel.

Although some young people see the Internet as their domain, this is just another indication of the way it's become part of everyday life for many of those in the older demographic.
