Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Telstra today announced a range of Business Broadband packages designed specifically to address the needs of small to medium businesses. The packages deliver a range of new services, including the option of ADSL2+ broadband access up to 20mbps over a dedicated business only network and the option of unlimited download/upload volumes. Prices range from $49.95 a month upt $310 a month for an ADSL2+ service with unlimited data transfer.
Group Managing Director of Telstra Business, Ms
Deena Shiff, said Business Broadband was another example of how Telstra
had recognised the specific and individual needs of small to medium
business by offering compelling out of the box solutions that deliver
the ultimate business download – peace of mind.
“Smaller businesses have traditionally either had to settle for
consumer broadband offerings or been saddled with higher cost solutions
designed for large corporates,” Ms Shiff said. “Telstra now has an
offering that provides an affordable and simple entry point solution
for businesses to connect to the online world and present a
professional online presence that is flexible enough to grow with the
needs of their business.
“When teamed with the other solutions we have recently introduced to
the market, including our new fixed and mobile pricing plans and the
added mobility that the Next G ™ network brings, we now offer simple
and effective business communications solutions to keep Australian SMEs
open for business, wherever they may be.”
Business Broadband provides a choice of packages, including Broadband
Starter Package for small business, Business Broadband Advantage for
growing businesses and Business Broadband BDSL for larger established
businesses.
The packages are flexible, with businesses able to upgrade or downgrade
at any time, and can be tailored to suit individual business needs with
the addition of Broadband Extras, a suite of services such as enhanced
security, business support services and hosted web conferencing to
increase mail and web security and improve business productivity.
Business Broadband also includes online tools such as business blogs, and portals.
The entry level Business Broadband Starter package of 512/128 kbps
includes professional installation, hosted Microsoft Outlook mail
service with two mailboxes, built in internet and virus security, and
domain name registration and hosting, backed up with 24/7 technical
support. It starts from as little as $49.95 per month on a 24 month
plan, with $0 set-up and $0 professional installation available until
March 2007.
