Zuckerberg vs. Zuckerberg

Your IT - Home IT

In a tale of two Zuckerbergs, social media giant Facebook has threatened to sue Mark Zuckerberg, an entrepreneur from Israel, with the two now embroiled in a bitter legal battle.

Originally named Rotem Guez, Zuckerberg owns MarkZuckerbergOfficial.com and legally changed his name on December 7, before receiving a threat of lawsuit from Facebook, Inc.

The lawsuit stems from 'Like Store', a company co-founded by Guez which sells Facebook 'likes' along with Youtube views and Twitter followers.

The Israeli Zuckerberg's 'Like Store' proclaims 'We can fit the results to your wishes!', and has been updated recently to detail the (potentially) upcoming legal battle.

Back in September, Facebook's legal arm threatened to sue Guez, instructing him to shut his company and never return to the social network for any reason, and has sent another threat of lawsuit on December 14.

Since changing his name with the Israeli 'Ministry of Home Affairs', the new Zuckerberg says he also wants to change the name of his family, and has said that this "will likely be his legal name for the rest of his natural life."

The Israeli Mark Zuckerberg currently has 4,360 'likes' on Facebook, compared with the Facebook founder's 10.4 million.
