An iPhone app delivering TV domestic goddess Nigella Lawson's recipes has been updated with an extra 30 dishes, and the price has been halved for a limited period.

Writing out recipes from TV cooking shows is a chore, and the accompanying books tend to be pricy. So how does 100 Nigella Lawson recipes for $4.99 sound?

The Nigella Quick Collection iPhone/iPod touch app has been updated with another 30 recipes. Ten are adapted from her latest book (Kitchen), and the remainder are new and exclusive to the app.

Features of the app include audio and video content, search by ingredient, voice recognition (so you can turn the page without touching the iPhone with food-covered hands), and a shopping list that can aggregate the items needed for multiple recipes.

The half-price $4.99 offer will last for an unspecified period. So if you fancy cooking up a batch of Chocol-oat Cookies, Shortcut Ham in Coke, or Slut's Spaghetti, it might be worth visiting the App Store sooner rather than later.

Existing owners can update to the new version without charge.
