Optus to offer 2GB via 2G & 3G

Optus has struck a deal with and Macquarie Radio Network (MRN) to deliver its AM radio station,  2GB and other content to its cellphone users.
MRN will supply Optus with customised content highlights and a simulcast radio stream from talk radio station, 2GB.

Content will include: the continuously updated Macquarie National News service; program services including Alan Jones - daily comments; entertainment news including movie reviews, feature interviews, jokes and gossip news; 2GB Live Radio stream of Ray Hadley’s “Continuous Call Team” NRL highlights and game calls via internet stream.

Customers dial 966 (Zoo) and follow the voice prompts to access the content of their choice.
