Fast broadband arrives in two South Australian communities

Your IT - Home IT

Just because you haven't been able to get fast broadband in your area, that doesn't necessarily mean you'll be waiting until the NBN arrive. Telstra has announced fixed broadband upgrades in two additional locations in South Australia.

Telstra has announced the availability of fast fixed broadband services in two South Australian towns.

ADSL services are now available in Coffin Bay (west of Port Lincoln) and Saddleworth (north of Adelaide).

'For the first time, families and businesses in Coffin Bay [and Saddleworth] will get access to fixed broadband, providing new opportunities for health, education, productivity improvements and entertainment," said John Tonkin, Telstra Country Wide area general manager for South Australia North and West.

"Telstra's networks are supported by a proven roadmap of innovation and investment. We have been able to develop this roadmap thanks to the close working relationships we have with our local communities," he added.
