NBN Co trying hard to sell NBN to end users

NBN Co is ramping up its efforts to 'sell' the benefits of the NBN to end users, releasing a series of case studies of NBN usage by Tasmanians.

This initiative follows a speech by CEO Mike Quigley to telecommunications industry executives in Melbourne last week, around half of which was devoted to examining end user benefits of the planned network.

NBN Co has placed five case studies on its web site: case study for education - professional development, e-learning for teachers and trainers; case study for education - sharing field trips, a new world of learning for children in Smithton; case study for education - teacher retention, SCHOOL explores new learning environments; case study for small business - remote working, New business for Midway Point sign writer; case study for small business - increasing international competitiveness, digital media studio saves time and money.

All the case studies detail real-life experiences of enthusiastic Tasmanian users of the NBN.
