Internode has revamped its ADSL plans, reducing the number of options for some services, boosting capacity on its top end 240GB pan and aligning prices for resold Optus DSL services with those provided on its own DSLAMs.
Internode product manager Jim Kellett said the plan overhaul was to maintain Internode's competitive position in the market.
Optus based NakedUltra plans and Internode-based NakedExtreme services now cost from $49.95 per month for a naked ADSL2+ service with 10GB data quota up to $109.90 for 100GB.
Also, Optus based services combining PSTN telephony with ADSL have been restructured to be identical in price to bundles of ADSL and PSTN telephony services on Internode DSLAMs (Extreme plans bundled with NodeLine)...The Opus-based services have been renamed UltraBundle and replace the former UltraLine services. Home-UltraBundle plans cost from $59.90 with a 10GB data quota to $99.90 for 100GB.
Prices for Telstra-based services have also been restructured. Internode says: "The new Standard and Fast plan tables are greatly simplified. They offer three monthly quota points (25, 50 or 100GB per month) across both the new Standard (1500/256) and Fast(ADSL2+) plan tables.
"Compared to previous Standard and Fast plans, some plan price points have been revised downward, some are unchanged and some have been revised upward."
