Telstra rebundles call and broadband plans for T-Box and T-Hub - UPDATED

Your IT - Home IT

Telstra has revised its combined broadband and telephony offerings to co-incide with the launch of T-Box.

All the plans are on 24 month contracts and include either the T-Box set top box/PVR or the T-Hub telephone and Internet access device.  All come with unlimited local calls and STD calls either unlimited or charged at $1 per call. Some also include unlimited calls to Telstra and other mobiles.

The new Home 25GB plan for $109 per month plus $35 upfront has twice the data quota of the previous plan at the same price. The Telstra Home 100GB Ultimate Bundle at $139 per month plus $35 upfront includes 100GB, unlimited local and STD calls and unlimited calls to any Telstra mobile.  A 200GB version costs $159 per month and also comes with unlimited calls to any Australian mobile and $10 of credit towards international call costs.

If users want both the T-Hub and the T-Box they can pay $299 upfront or spread the cost over the 24 months of the contract by paying $35 upfront and $11 per month for the second device.

Bundles still include a free WiFi modem for new customers and existing customers who don't already have one. This can make connecting internet devices in your home easier. The plans are available to all new customers and existing customers, but those without a 13 digit account number (ie those on the old billing system) must pay $299 up front for the T-Box.
