Hostworks using MessageLabs to filter client email

Hostworks has partnered with email security service provider, MessageLabs to filter its clients' incoming email before it reaches Hostworks' data centres.
All of Hostworks' incoming and outgoing email will be routed through MessageLabs 'towers' to remove spam and messages containing viruses, etc.

Hostworks claims that benefits for its clients include 100 percent guaranteed virus protection, removal of more than 95 percent of incoming spam, a large drop in incoming data volumes and reduced infrastructure requirements to handle peak traffic demands.

Hostworks claims that, in come cases clients' email volumes have fallen by as much as 80 percent as a result of being filtered by MessageLabs.
