Kogan brings booming bounty of new tech for 2010, blasts competition

Your IT - Home IT

Crafty and courageous consumer electronics competitor, Kogan Technologies, has bolstered the already bountiful range with a brand new bevvy of top tech beauties for 2010!

Kogan Technologies, the cost cutting consumer electronics company, has decided to expand its 2010 range with several new products to tempt consumers into new gadget ownership.

According to Kogan, these new products include a new Full HD Deluxe Video Camera, two new Full HD LCD TVs at 42 and 47-inches, new and larger digital photo frames and new smaller LCD TVs, which follows the Kogan Elite LED range of TVs at 26 and 32-inches earlier in the year.

The new video camera adds 'high quality optics, a brand new CMOS sensor, HDMI output, and the ability to record straight to [the] AVI [file format].

A smart addition to the new 42 and 47-inch Full HD LCD TVs is the addition of a USB input, which handily let consumers play video files, JPEG photos and mp3 music files directly from USB sticks or hard drives, turning your TV into a giant media player and photo frame, able to play video files without needing to first burn that video to a DVD or buying a separate digital media player to connect to the TV.

As you'd expect, Ruslan Kogan says it's a big deal, and explains that 'the new designs and features mark a significant shifting point in Kogan's business model.'

Kogan continues, noting that: 'The products we've launched today are a direct result of our increased buying power. As Kogan's popularity across Australia grows, we're able to have more control in our partnerships, meaning we have more say over the design and features of our entire range.
