Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Vodafone Australia will launch Jamie’s Mobile Kitchen, via Vodafone live! with 3G from 1 April: 'made-for-mobile' content, starring UK celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.
Oliver will present three-minute ‘mobisodes’ demonstrating the preparation of over 100 of his top recipes. The service allows users to search for a recipe for a particular occasion or by their favourite ingredient. They can watch Oliver in action, then view an ingredient list for their chosen recipe for $3.30. The site will be updated with a new recipe at 3pm daily.
Vodafone has partnered with mobile content provider Inventa to make the clips available. Inventa has used the original film footage from Jamie Oliver’s television series ‘Oliver’s Twist’, edited down to three minutes per recipe.
According to Oliver, "Anyone can be a great cook, they just need the right recipes and some clear instructions... So, whether you’re in the bus queue or wandering around the supermarket with no idea what to cook tonight, I’ll always be on hand to deliver some inspiration with Vodafone live!”
