Vodafone and Legion launch info and entertainment services

Vodafone and Legion Interactive have launched a range of info and entertainment services that can be accessed from a wide range of handsets on 2G, 2.5G or 3G networks

The services uses an application developed by Legion Interactive that is claimed to enable "a one-click access point for content, identifying each handset and delivering only content compatible to that particular device."

"By taking into account what the consumer wants, we believe that Vodafone and Legion Interactive have created a first in Australia. Consumers are able to subscribe, request and manage everything from news headlines to share price alerts from their SIM card, delivering a positive customer experience," said Angus Murray, group business manager, Legion Interactive Mobile.
