Telstra offer cheap broadband with two year contracts

Your IT - Home IT

Telstra BigPond has unveiled what it claims to be its "biggest ever" broadband deal, offering new customers up to 12 months half priced broadband, and $0 installation.

The offer is available to all new ADSL, Cable and Wireless Broadband customers who are either already using or take up "eligible" Telstra home phone and mobile services and commit, online, to a 24-month contract.

"It's our biggest ever offer, with three tiers providing from six to 12 months half-priced broadband, all with $0 installation," BigPond managing director, Justin Milne said.

"If you're a Telstra full service home phone customer, you'll get six months half priced broadband. Combine an eligible Telstra mobile plan, or sign up online, and you will get nine months half priced broadband. Customers who have a Telstra full service home phone, an eligible Telstra mobile plan and who sign up on-line at BigPond.com will get the full 12 months half price bonus."

Milne said that customers taking up the offer would save between $308 and $908 in the first 12 months depending on the plan they opt for.
