Optus launches resold Foxtel Digital pay TV

Your IT - Home IT

Optus has commenced reselling the Foxtel digital cable TV service and is using it to promote bundled offerings of pay TV and telephony services.

Chris Lane, group director products & delivery, Optus Consumer, said: "Digital television will strengthen Optus' ability to offer customers a one stop shop for all their information and entertainment needs, and best position us to provide compelling bundled plans that include Optus TV, home telephony, broadband Internet and mobile services."

To kick-start the new service, Optus is offering a $10 discount of the monthly fee to customers who bundle digital TV with a home telephony plan.

Foxtel is planning to shutdown the analogue service in March 2007.
