Vista vulnerabilities March on

March's Patch Tuesday will see yet another critical fix for Microsoft's flagship operating systems.

Microsoft's routine patch cycle will continue this month with three bulletins relating to Windows.

There's no indication that any applications will be updated.

The company has told customers to expect one critical bulletin (covering a remote code execution issue) and two important bulletins.

The critical bulletin affects Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Vista, XP and 2000.

One of the important bulletins relates to the same list of operating systems, but the other is not applicable to XP, Vista, or the Itanium version of Server 2008.

The March updates for the Malicious Software Removal Tool and the Windows Mail Junk E-mail Filter were released yesterday, according to Microsoft's web site.
