Spooks give CypherNet the tick on Layer 2 encryption

The company recently announced that Vietnam Information Security Laboratories (VISL), an agency of Vietnam's Ministry of Defence to distribute CypherNet products in that country, initially to the banking and finance sector.

"We intend to be the first in Asia with the absolute security of high-speed quantum encryption and this is why we approached Senetas and we are pleased to have them as a regional partner," said Nguyen Quy Son, general director of VISL.

Senetas delivers quantum encryption though its partnership with Switzerland-based id Quantique.
