Altech Computers to distribute Siemens HiPath

Altech Computers, which claim to be "one of Australia's leading suppliers of hardware components and pre-built computer systems", is to distribute Siemens' HiPath 1220 PABX through its Australian reseller network which has a claimed customer base of approximately 6000 nationwide.

According to Altech managing director, Antony Sheen, "The small business segment is looking for IT and voice solutions to be provided by the one partner. This new Siemens HiPath solution now provides our resellers with the opportunity to address the voice requirement of their micro and small business customers... Siemens is also a market leader in VoIP, which this market segment is keen to understand and deploy in their business." The HiPath 1220 supports from two to 14 extensions
