The Fujitsu LifeBook P1610 provides built-in HSDPA connectivity in an ultraportable form factor.

Weighing 1kg, the P1610 only needs the addition of an appropriate SIM to enable wireless broadband in addition to Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and dial-up connectivity.

Most notebooks and tablets require a PC Card or USB modem for 3G access.

The $A3099 tablet also features a 1.2GHz Core Solo CPU, 1G of RAM, an 80G hard drive, fingerprint sensor and TPM v1.2.

Other security features include the ability to lock the hard drive with a password stored in the drive firmware, in addition to the more commonplace BIOS lock.

Windows Vista Business is provided as standard, with the option of XP Tablet PC Edition.

Battery life is said to be up to four hours, with an optional six-cell battery boosting this to up to eight hours.
