Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Chilli Internet has revamped its iBurst broadband wireless data offerings saying it has increased download limits by an average of 350 percent and increased speed by up to 300 percent.

Customers can now buy a 1Mbps/345kbps service with 2Gbyte download split 50:50 between peak and off-peak (midnight to 6.00am) times for $39.95 per month. The top of the line plan with 30Gbytes (50:50 split) costs $199.95 per month and an entry level 512/256 plan with 2Gbyte costs $29.95 per month. Three, four, eight and 10Gbyte plans at 1Mbps/345kbps are $44/95, $49.95, $74.95 and $99.95 respectively.
Chilli says the price changes follow the decision by the operator of the iBurst network, Commander Communications' subsidiary Personal Broadband Australia's decision to lower reseller access prices to the service.
Chilli claims the new plans are price competitive with ADSL but without the headache of hefty monthly line rentals. Until 30 September it is offering free activation on all new 12 month contracts, normal price $66. The no-contract activation price is $129. Laptop and USB modems cost $249 and a desktop modem $299.
The network has coverage in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, The Gold Coast and Canberra.
