3 has added a $12 month Bronze plan to its range of X-Series packages that offer a fixed price bundle of mobile content services and data within 3's 3G network coverage area.
The X-Series Bronze plan offers access to the Internet and email with 100MB of data, up to 200 Skype minutes, unlimited access to MSN and Yahoo! Messenger and unlimited access to 3 Email.
This contrasts to the three existing offerings introduced at the launch of X-Series in March that range from $20 per month for a 500MB download allowance and a 1000 minutes of Skype calls to $40 for 2GB per month and 4000 minutes of Skype calls. However these plans also offer 'Bumper Pack 'and E-bay subscription which are not included in the Bronze plan. Bumper Pack provides news, sports, weather, entertainment and information plus 3's Email.
3 has also introduced what it says is the first HSDPA mobile for the mass market. The phone, the Nokia 6120, is offered at no charge on a $29 capped plan over 24 months. It is a candy bar format handset that includes a 2.0 megapixel camera with flash and 4x digital zoom.
