Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Internode has introduced new broadband plans with monthly downloads of 30Gbytes to its ranges of ADSL and ADSL2+ offerings for the home and SOHO markets.
The company says the move is in response to requests from customers for a monthly plan with included downloads between the existing 20GB and 40GB options, after it hiked the prices of its high download plans at the beginning of June. The 30Gbyte offering is available at all bandwidths - 512/128k, 512/512k, 1500/256k, 8M/384k, and ADLS2+.
Internode has also extended until the end of July the window for customers to migrate to new plans following its 4 June price rise without incurring the usual $20 'speed change' fee.
At the beginning of June, Internode raised prices, by almost 25 percent in some instances, on some of its high download residential and SOHO ADSL plans citing the increased cost of network capacity and the fact that more users were pushing their plans to the limit.
