Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
The new Core 2 Duo based Inspiron notebooks come in three screen sizes (14, 15.4 and 17in, all widescreen) and eight colours.
Standard features include an 8-in-1 media card reader, while among the options are an integrated webcam and noise-cancellation earbuds, 802.11a/g or N in place of the standard 802.11g, a Blu-ray drive, and Vista Basic, Premium or Ultimate.
Prices begin at $A1599 for the 14in model.
OK, you really wanted to know what colours are available, didn't you? Matt black, gloss white, and "soft touch" brown, pink, blue, red, green and yellow. (What is it with pink computers?)
If you're in the market for an ultraportable, Dell claims the XPS M1330 is "the world's thinnest 13in notebook" at just 23.1mm thick.
Specs include a Core 2 Duo CPU, Nvidia GeForce Go 8400M GS graphics (or Intel integrated graphics), 802.11g, DVD+/- RW drive, and integrated 8-in-1 media card reader and webcam.
Other configuration choices include an LED backlit display, 802/11a/g or N, a fingerprint reader, and a black, white or red shell.
Prices start at $A1899.
Dell also introduced new Inspiron desktops featuring Intel or AMD processors in a range of configurations with options including TV tuners and HDTV output. Prices begin at $A899 for the Sempron-based Inspiron 531s.
A pair of LCD monitors round out the announcements. Priced from $A229, the 19in widescreen model's key specs include 1440 x 900 resolution, 5ms response time and 1000:1 contrast ratio.
Moving upmarket, the 24in model starts at $A1199 and uses cold-cathode fluorescent lighting for better colour. Features include a 9-in-2 media card reader and four USB ports. The 1920 x 1200 display has a 6ms response time and 1000:1 contrast ratio.
