Optus offers BlackBerry on Dopod 838Pro PDA

Optus is offering the  BlackBerry Connect software on the Dopod 838Pro, a Windows Mobile based 3G PDA.

On the Optus network the 838Pro will support both BlackBerry Enterprise Server based push email and the BlackBerry Internet service, which pushes email from the user's existing email service with management via a Blackberry website.

BlackBerry Enterprise Server software tightly integrates with IBM Lotus Domino, Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise and works with existing enterprise systems for push-based wireless access to email and other corporate data.

Existing users of 838Pros can download the BlackBerry Connect software from Dopod It will be pre-intalled on all new units shipped.
