Seven News streams afternoon bulletin

Your IT - Home IT

Seven's 4.30pm news bulletin will be streamed live via the Yahoo!7 web site beginning sometime next week.

Yahoo!7's director of news and sport, David McGrath, said "The continued expansion of our Seven News offering online will deliver an exciting new experience for our users, who can now tune in to Seven live from their computer for up-to-the-minute access to the 4.30pm bulletin."

The announcement did not mention the format that would be used to stream the bulletins, but the existing Seven News clips use Windows Media.

Yahoo!7 News claims 80,000 unique users daily, while Seven is currently the leading network in Australia for news and public affairs.
