According to VSNL and Microsoft, "Available on a subscription basis, the solution eliminates ongoing operational management and administration costs, and safeguards against technology changes and obsolescence. It supports multiple service packages, providing flexibility to support MNO market segmentation strategies and their customers' changing needs."

VSNL is well place to tackle this market. A subsidiary of India's giant industrial conglomerate, Tata Group, it acquired several years ago Canadian international telco Teleglobe which was at the time was the leading providing of connectivity to support international roaming for mobile network operators, Today VSNL International's Teleglobe Mobile Solution clams to provide "a comprehensive suite of mobile services to more than 450 mobile operators in over 225 countries...from basic signalling services, such as SCCP and wireless global roaming, to enhanced services, such as Managed roaming and mobile service delivery solutions."

AIS, Thailand's largest mobile operator, will leverage ReadyAccess to "deliver a single point messaging and collaboration solution, and capitalize on significant demand from SMEs." Somchai Lertsuttiwong, vice president wireless service business, AIS commented, "VSNL International's ReadyAccess will enable us to offer our customers a completely integrated messaging service that can be combined with our high speed wireless data services...We can deliver these services on demand with no capital risk and white label VSNL International's web portal to leverage our own established brand."
