MySpace debut for Eisner's Prom Queen

Episodes of Prom Queen, an new Internet drama from ex-Disney CEO Michael Eisner, will be available on MySpace 12 hours ahead of other sites

Set in a US high school during the last two months of the school year, Prom Queen is a teen murder mystery.

The series of 90 second episodes will premiere on April 2, with new episodes appearing daily. Each weeks' content will be assembled into one show, and once the series is complete it will be recut into a movie-length version.

Eisner's Vuguru studio has cut a deal that will allow viewers to buy clothes featured in the series as they watch.

Watch the trailer at MySpace or PromQueen.tv. iTWire found PromQueen.tv downloaded the trailer more quickly giving smooth playback, whereas the MySpace version stuttered. (Your experience may differ.)

The series will also be available from YouTube and Veoh, and via some carriers' cell phones.
