Xbox Live market place already available in the US, along with Microsoft’s perceived early adoption of TV 2.0 may well prove lucrative for the software giant, according to a new report.
James Orry at Pro-G has a summary of a recent Emerging Media Dynamics published report stating that because of the Microsoft leap with open arms into the IP video realm it stands to rake in a bundle.
According to the report, being a key player in TV 2.0 and using technologies such as the Xbox Live marketplace to download High-Def movie and TV content, Microsoft can look forward to revenue of US$92.25 million this year stepping up to US$726 Million by 2011.

On the High-Def content Xbox Live and Hard Drive front, it was more of a “it will happen – when the time is right” front.
